Master Kirk McCune

Kirk McCune is the direct heir to the martial system founded in 1968 by Grand Master Emeritus Leo M Giron called the Bahala Na ® Martial Arts Association / Giron ® Arnis Escrima. He was promoted to Master in 2006 by Grand Master Antonio Somera. Master Kirk is the President and Master of the Bahala Na ® Martial Arts Association / Giron ® Arnis Escrima and the owner and CEO of Bahala Na® Systems International. He is the final authority for the character, techniques and practices of these arts. Master Kirk is featured in the Escrima Legacy Series from Masters Magazine and received a Masters Hall of Fame Silver Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. Like GME Leo Giron and GM Somera, he is a member of the Legionarios Del Trabajo General Luna Lodge in Stockton California. He is one of the curators of the ANTONIO SOMERA GALLERY at Little Manila Rising 2154 South San Joaquin Street Stockton, CA 95206 United States, and he is an administrator of the Leo Giron / Tony Somera Scholarship which is awarded each year to deserving college bound high school students and was established in 2009.

Master Joel Juanitas

A native son of Stockton California, Joel is a second generation Filipino American with deep roots in the area. He has attended local schools and colleges with a degree in business administration. In 2014, Joel was installed as a Little Manila board member. Currently, he is employed by the City of Stockton within the Municipal Utilities Department. He is also the Filipino Martial Arts instructor under the Bahala Na Association at the Little Manila Center. Joel lives in Stockton with his lovely wife Jennifer their sons Craig, Leo, daughter Annabelle and pet dog Chop.
